Week 1

What happens when you rely on other people to do some of your things?
a. you don't do it
b. you miss out by not doing it

Well, yes, my husband used to help me out on our little business blog... well, actually more his blog than ours and  I missed out on quite a few things.

But now.... it's a different story. I'm proud of my trial-and-errors and of personalizing this blog (little by little, mind you, no pressure please!)

I can say that I'm learning how to use a blog.. and it's endless possibilities! I could post lots of things on this blog for my students, maybe some useful videos, missed assignments and the like. I'm still thinking about other possibilities.

I also enjoyed learning about WiziQ. Like the blog, it is something worth meddling around and playing with it. In 4 words:  think outside the box.

Welcome to Learning Technologies for the Classroom!

  1. Thinkging outside the box can be a great motto or mantra to psych out ourselves into using LTs without fears. Go and explore. Make mistakes. Step by step. That's the spirit to start integrating LTs into the language classroom. And , as you wrote, learn by yourself. Do not depend on someone else to do something that will enhance your very own teaching and provide opportunities for your students to learn in a different way.

  3. Hi Marina! Love your blog! I see that I am not the only one who tended to depend on somebody else to do stuff regarding learning technologies. In this course I am learning to be "an activist" - someone who learns from his/her own experience & from his/her own mistakes. So are you! Congrats!
